Urban Mermaids.......

It's no secret that in our house we are a big fan of being mermaids, some times Bug has to be creative with what she uses for a tail and some times she goes modern mermaid in a wet suit for a trip to the shops................

So......... with this in mind I thought it was about time we made ourselves a couple of "Urban Mermaid" tails.

But we don't want to waste the leftovers so we made this little bean!!

These two are the newest little cats that I have made, they make a wonderful couple..... All Mr H needs is a little bow tie and waistcoat.

Mini pom pom garland................

So............................ I have been getting crafly with felt, the felt comes as tufts of coloured fibres and you have to work it really well to make anything at all out of it .......

I have made them into a garland for Lolas side ........... Photos will follow................. Now just Darceys to do?!

The house is coming together............. The Girls room is nearly done

So.............. We are getting there the floor is layed and the loft has been finished so I have spent some time putting together all the bits and bobs that I have been collecting.

 

 

 

 

I love the oversized tulle pom poms, they are perfect in the corners and the large hand made bunting ........a perfect use for the left over bits of fabric.

 

The girls are sharing a room so lets see how that pans out.?!
